Upon her passing on March 10, 2026, in Annandale, she left behind a legacy of kindness and love that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Alba was a guiding light for her family, epitomizing warmth and generosity. Her home was a sanctuary where everyone felt welcome, always filled with the comforting aromas of her famous soups, which she prepared with love every holiday. One of the fondest memories shared by her family was a beach trip to Myrtle beach where she delighted in the laughter of her children and grandchildren, a testament to her joy in family gatherings and meaningful connections.

Her gentle wisdom and nurturing presence inspired all fortunate enough to know her. Alba had an exceptional ability to make others feel valued and part of the moment, always offering wise advice and heartfelt support to anyone who needed it. She brought joy and laughter into every moment, making many playful memories that were cherished deeply.

Her loving son-in-law, Uri Mena, and daughter-in-law, Rosanna Guillot, also carry her memory in their hearts. Her sister Gloria Malinauskas and her nieces, nephews and friends will celebrate the beautiful life she led.

She was predeceased by her mother, Rosa Maria Restrepo; father, Abraham Restrepo; and brother, Antonio Jose Restrepo, who will now be in her company.

A viewing will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Falls Church, VA, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM on March 13, 2026, followed by a Mass celebrating her life at 10:00 AM. She will then be laid to rest at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, VA, at 11:15 AM.
