Amit's larger than life personality would sway anyone he met. His laughter and humor were infectious. Life threw a lot at him, yet he always remained untroubled, and never ceased to find the beauty in all things great and small. Friends and family sought him out during their troubled times, for his grounding, immovable faith that the universe had wonderful plans for all of us. He will forever remain our guiding angel and we will always carry his optimism and joie de vivre with us

Amit will be missed by his family, friends, and his treasure trove of nieces and nephews

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jhumpa, his buddies Bunty (Shandy), Babu (Subhendu), Sean (Santanu), Paapu (Devjit), Jagga (Joydeep), Joy, Payal, Sumana, Mou, Sharmistha, Triveni and his beloved nieces and nephews
