With hearts weighed down by unspeakable sorrow, yet filled at the same time with overflowing gratitude for every cherished moment, we mourn the passing of our beloved Andrew Xavier, who left this world at only sixteen years old. His departure leaves a space in our world no words can fill, but his memory glows brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Born on April 13, 2010, Andrew brought light and laughter from the very first day. Andrew is lovingly remembered by his mother, Kelly Wagner; his stepfather, Charles Wagner; his brothers, Daniel and Luca; his step siblings; his maternal grandparents, Moises and Arminda; his maternal uncle, Alex; and many extended family members and friends who cherished him. He is also survived by his father, Alex Posadas, his paternal grandparents, and members of his paternal family. Together, they witnessed and shared in both the ordinary everyday joys and the extraordinary moments that made up the fabric of Andrew’s too-brief life.

Andrew was an incoming junior at South County High School—a place where he was not only a student but a source of comfort, encouragement, and laughter for his peers and teachers alike. Even as a young man, Andrew’s character shone brightly. Those who were fortunate to know him speak most often of his incredibly kind and compassionate heart. He had that rare and beautiful way of making everyone around him feel truly seen, valued, and loved. Whether it was lending a listening ear, offering a helping hand, or sharing an infectious grin, Andrew was always quick to lift up those around him. He could turn a friend’s tears into laughter, warm the coldest of days with his smile, and make even the shyest soul feel at home.

His laugh was unforgettable—joy rippled through every room he entered, brightening even the darkest days. Andrew’s playful sense of humor and clever wit created countless memories, the echoes of which will live on in stories lovingly retold by friends and family. Known for giving the biggest, warmest hugs, Andrew embraced those whom he loved in ways that made them feel safe, comforted, and deeply cared for.

Above all, Andrew loved fiercely. His generous spirit, gentle soul, and enormous heart touched lives in places far beyond those walls and within many who may have met him only briefly. The legacy of kindness he leaves is profound—a legacy woven with countless small gestures, considerate acts, and moments of understanding that made every day brighter. Though his time here was heartbreakingly short, the impact of his compassion and love radiates forward in those who remain.

Out of respect for Andrew and our family, we ask that there be no speculation or questions regarding the circumstances of his passing.

Andrew’s love, laughter, and light will be remembered always, and his absence felt in the quiet moments and joyful gatherings alike. As we say goodbye, we are sustained by the memory of his generous soul and the example he set for us all. May we honor him by living with a little more kindness, laughter, and love in each of our own days, touched forever by the gift of knowing Andrew Xavier.
