Angela Marie Rice, lovingly known as Angie passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on March 17, 1962, in Washington, DC, Angela dedicated a remarkable 45 years of her life to serving the federal government. Her commitment to her career was matched by her dedication to her family, particularly her beloved daughter, Caitlin McClay. Together, they shared countless memories, traveling to softball games and tournaments, showcasing the immense pride Angie took in Caitlin's accomplishments.
Angie's generous spirit was evident in all aspects of her life. Known for always being willing to help others, her kind nature and ready smile made an impact on everyone she encountered. She was known for her love for dancing and listening to music. Angie's talents extended to the kitchen, where she was known for her excellent baking, creating treats that brought joy to family gatherings and celebrations. In her free time, she cherished the companionship of her dogs, enjoying a nap on the couch or a game of catch.
In addition to her love of her family and professional dedication, Angie enjoyed watching baseball and racing, passions that brought her joy and connected her with friends and family alike. She is remembered not only for her significant contributions in her work but also for the warmth and love she shared with those around her.
Angie leaves behind her daughter Caitlin McClay, her mother Lettie Rice, her siblings Linda McGee, Charlie Rice, Paula Epp, and Kim Rice, as well as her late husband Greg McClay, and sisters Cindi Hinson and Pam Woodruff, who predeceased her. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, who will cherish the memories of her generous heart and vibrant spirit.
