It is with great sadness that our family is announcing the passing of my cherished brother Anthony Louis Rusk, on Tuesday August 18, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was the brother of Valerie Marie Cowan and Nancy Ann Rusk.

Born in Washington DC and residing in Seabrook most of his life then moving to Edgewater Maryland, he was the son of the late John Weldon Jr. and Eva Marie (Magni) Rusk.

Tony worked mostly as a remodeling contractor however was talented in many other areas including automotive. He loved fishing, playing pool, drawing, had a love for all animals, and his pistachios and cheese crackers. Tony leaves behind his sisters Valerie Cowan and Nancy Rusk, his nephews, Joshua Soto and Thurman Cowan, niece Annastasia Cowan, daughters, Kari Baldwin and Sarah Rusk, grandchildren Leila, Laci, Carter, Colton, Ellie and Maci, all of whom he loved dearly.

Our family would like to extend a heart filled thanks for the loving care of Tony to the nurses and Doctors at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center, Tony frequently expressed how kind and caring they were to him and all his needs.

Tony was a wonderful brother, uncle, and friend to many. A day will not pass by without his memory in our minds and hollowness in our hearts.
