Bradley Scott Blough

December 19, 1954 – December 6, 2025

In loving memory of Bradley Scott Blough, 70, of Frederick, Maryland, who passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by family and friends following a brief illness. Brad was born to Paul and Imogene Blough in Washington, DC and graduated from Magruder High School in Rockville MD.

 Brad deeply valued family, lifelong friendships, and spending time with those he loved. He was always eager to lend a helping hand and generously shared his time and expertise in carpentry, construction and gardening. As a passionate music lover, Brad amassed an extensive record collection over his lifetime. He was also known for his strong admiration and respect for veterans and all who served our country. 

One of Brad’s greatest attributes was his ability to love. He held an especially close bond with his adoptive daughter Heather Johnson, and was extremely proud to serve as the grandfather figure to her children Julian, Savannah, Aislyn, and Landon, as well as Kayden and another granddaughter by choice, Kaylah. 

Brad was predeceased by his parents, and is survived by his daughter, Melanie Blough. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Beckwith and brother, Brian Blough in addition to three nieces, one nephew, two great-nieces, and six great-nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Brad’s life will be held on January 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brunswick American Legion in Brunswick, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion, an organization Brad deeply loved and respected for its dedication to veterans.
