Bradley William Parish

IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRADLEY WILLIAM PARISH

Bradley William Parish, 60, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on January 20, 1966, in Jackson, Michigan, Brad resided in Alexandria, Virginia from 1995 until his death. He received his bachelor's degree in communications at Michigan State University and his master's degree in finance at The George Washington University. Brad worked at the United States Postal Service headquarters in various roles for over two decades.

A devoted husband, father, brother and uncle, Brad was a friend to everyone he met. Brad lived a life filled with generosity and kindness, and unwavering love for those around him.  He remained close to friends from every stage of his life, many of whom visited from great distances in his final days.  Brad meant so much to so many, but especially to his boys, who have lost their coach (of many baseball and basketball teams, including the spectacularly named Flying Monkey Butts), their teacher, their playmate (ah, the Nerf battles), their guide, their dad.  

Brad is survived by his wife, Shawn; his children, Jacob and Griffin; his sister, Kris Knitter, and her children, Sydney and Ryan.

In lieu of gifts, donations may be made in his name to Goodwin Hospice of Falls Church, Virginia.
