Brenda Diann Davis

October 11, 1955 — May 18, 2024

Brenda Diann Davis, a spirited and cherished soul, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 18, 2024, at the age of 68, in Haymarket, Virginia. Born into the Dean family on October 11, 1955, in Washington, DC, Brenda's zest for life never knew any bounds.

Brenda was the youngest of twelve siblings. Spending most of her younger years in Northern Virginia. She was a typical kid playing with her brothers and sisters, riding bikes and enjoying childhood. After graduating high school, Brenda took on the adventurous life. She moved out West and lived in both California and Washington State. Her life was full of being free and having fun. She returned to Northern Virginia and was reborn on March 05, 1991. For the next thirty-three years of her life, she spent it helping, sponsoring and touching numerous lives. She did this with such conviction and passion to be there for complete strangers to guide, support and love them. With the Lord by her side and her strong sense of self-worth, she had a successful fulfilling life of happiness and joy helping others.

She leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love with her brothers Donald (Donny) Dean (Dot Dean), Matthew (Matt) Dean, Drew Dean (Bonnie Dean), Jerry Dean, and her sisters Dora Hamm and Patsy Puckett (Ted Puckett). Her spirit will continue to echo in the joyful lives of her nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, and the extended family of friends who became family by choice.

Brenda was greeted at the pearly gates by a welcoming committee of family members who had set off on their own journeys before her: father Ralph Matthew Dean, Mother Ester Martha Dean, brothers Chester (Chet) Dean, William (Billy) Dean, Thomas (Tom) Dean, sisters Wanda Hagerman and Deborah (Debbie) Tennant and her beloved fur baby Tiger.

Brenda's gentle spirit and enduring love will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched, and the fond memories shared by her family and friends.
