Bruce K. McCullough, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on September 23,2025 at the age of 72. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and respected professional, Bruce lived a life marked by dedication to both his family and his career.

Born in Germany to James F. and Alice C. McCullough, Bruce grew up in a proud military family, an upbringing that shaped his strong values and sense of discipline. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice.

Bruce was the beloved father of Bruce “Kyle” McCullough and his fiancée, Amber Price, and the cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren: Bruce Jr., Jacob, Rodney, Lexi, Tony, Kali & Sadie. He also leaves behind his sister, Jamie McCullough; his niece Becky; his nephew Jimmy; and his former wife, Kerry McCullough-Morgan, with whom he maintained a close and caring relationship throughout his life.

Bruce dedicated more than three decades of his career as a plumbing engineer, specializing in healthcare and laboratory research facilities. He began his career with Ellerbe Becket and Bansal Associates, later spending over 27 years with S3E-Klingemann. Since 2018, he served as a Senior Plumbing Engineer at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. His mastery of his craft and his CPD certification reflected his commitment to excellence and the respect he earned among colleagues and clients alike.

As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Bruce is reunited with his beloved parents. The dance that began long ago has now continued in heaven never ending, never fading with the joy of reunion in their eyes.

Bruce’s memory will be forever treasured by his son, his grandchildren, his sister, his extended family, and the many friends and colleagues whose lives he touched. His life will be honored and celebrated by all who knew and loved him.
