Carol’s early years in Scottsdale shaped a life marked by dedication and warmth. A proud graduate of Scottsdale High School and Scottsdale Community College, she cultivated a strong foundation that supported her varied and accomplished career. Carol’s professional journey began with Sebastian Hair in Marina Del Ray, California, where she demonstrated commitment and skill. She then served with distinction at the Pentagon, contributing to the United States government. Beyond her career, Carol found joy and fulfillment in her personal interests. She delighted in Christmas arts and crafts, where her creativity shone, and she treasured quiet moments spent reading and gazing at the stars through her passion for astronomy. Friends and family fondly remember her trips to Texas and her enthusiastic attendance at family events, occasions that highlighted her deep love for kinship and connection.

Carol’s heart extended generously beyond those closest to her; she was a proud supporter of the Make A Wish Foundation, embodying her spirit of giving and hope for others. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Murray, as well as her beloved niece, Colleen Linder, and nephews Sean and Patrick Murray, who all hold her memory dear. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Maxwell, whose companionship remains a cherished part of her story.

In reflecting on Carol’s life, one is struck by her unwavering kindness and the positive light she brought into the world. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and genuine human connection. Those who knew her remember a woman who gave freely of herself and whose spirit will continue to inspire.

Carol Ann Maxwell’s journey may have ended, but the memories she created and the warmth she shared endure. She leaves behind a profound sense of loss among her family and friends, but also a wealth of beautiful moments to cherish forever.
