Jun 1970 — Jul 2026
Gaithersburg, Maryland
Christine Elizabeth Jordan was born in June, 1970, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was the first of three children, followed closely by her brother, Patrick and sister Kelly.
Her maternal grandparents whom she named ‘RaRa’ and ‘Poppy’ were cornerstones in her childhood, offering consistent love and stability.
Christine spent the majority of her childhood in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where her independent and adventurous spirit emerged early. As an active child, Christine developed a love for participating in gymnastics and especially diving. She competed for Pioneer High School and later enjoyed her role as a diving coach for children of all ages. Spending time at the pool, and being in the sun were some of her happiest times throughout her life.
Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin. After graduation, she spent a year as the Fitness Director aboard a cruise ship in Hawaii, where she enjoyed teaching step aerobics and spending her free time snorkeling.
She later moved to Washington, D.C., to attend the University of Maryland, where she earned her Master of Arts. Christine worked for several years as an event planner before following her passion for helping others by returning to school to become a Registered Nurse.
Christine cared deeply for her patients and used humor to uplift their spirits. She spent many years as an Emergency Department nurse, a role she embraced with compassion, dedication, and great pride.
Christine is survived by: daughter Paige, mother Ginna, father Frank, brother Patrick, sister Kelly and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and one niece.
