Christopher Bryan Hicks, 69, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026 of a rare respiratory condition.

Born on February 16, 1957, Chris was the beloved son of Mary Catherine McLynn Hicks and Robert Dean Hicks (deceased). He grew up in a close-knit family with his siblings: Catherine Timmerman Frezza, Robert Dean Hicks, Gregory Michael Hicks (deceased) and David Matthew Hicks. Christopher is survived by his daughters, Katharine Hicks and Samantha Hicks.

With his passion for the culinary arts, Chris earned his degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He went on to enjoy a successful career in the culinary field, serving numerous culinary institutions. 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Chris was known for his warmth and genuine love for people and animals. He had a charisma that everyone felt when he entered a room. His kindness, sense of humor, and personality made him deeply loved by those who knew him.

Though he will be greatly missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
