Colleen Marie Lussier, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away on August 10, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and dedication. She was born on August 25, 1962, in Pittsfield, MA, to her loving parents Milton Grady and Carol Grady.
Colleen's passion for her career was evident to all who knew her. She cherished her work as a Vice President Senior Trust Officer for over 25 years and found joy in going to the office each day, positively impacting those around her with her kind and dedicated nature. Her commitment to excellence led her to earn a bachelor's degree at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she continued to pursue additional awards and certifications, further showcasing her drive and determination.
Outside of her professional life, Colleen found immense joy in spending time with her family and friends. She held a special place in her heart for holiday gatherings and Sunday dinners, where she would showcase her culinary talents with home-cooked meals that brought everyone together. Her warm personality made it easy for her to create lasting friendships wherever she went, always willing to go above and beyond for those she loved.
Colleen's love for the beach, good food, and drinks was a testament to her appreciation for life's simple pleasures. Her memories will forever be intertwined with the sound of waves crashing on the shore and the laughter shared over a delicious meal.
One of Colleen's proudest accomplishments was her dedication to giving back to the community through regular volunteer work with various organizations. Her selfless nature and desire to make a positive impact on the world will be a part of her enduring legacy.
In her passing, Colleen is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Lussier, and their daughters, Noelle Lussier and Renée Lussier. She is also mourned by her mother, Carol Grady, along with her sister Michele and brother-in-law John Wolf, nephew Scott and his wife Christine Washburn, great niece and nephew Asher Washburn and Ava, nephew and his wife Zachary and Maegan Washburn, great nieces Paetyn and Kaelynn Washburn, sister and brother-in-law Tamara and Scott Morrissey, niece and nephew Ali and Jacob Morrissey, brother and sister-in-law Todd and Jovita Grady, and the entire Lussier family whom she loved and cherished deeply.
Colleen was preceded in death by her father, Milton Grady, and her grandmother, Rita Merriam, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the next chapter.
As we remember Colleen Marie Lussier, we hold onto the memories of her laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will forever be cherished in our hearts as a beacon of kindness and compassion. May her spirit live on in the countless lives she touched.
Services will be held at the Harbour Grille in Woodbridge, Va on August 24, 2024 from 11:30-2pm as a celebration of life. Additionally on September 1, 2024 a celebration of life will be at the Wahconah Country Club in Dalton, Ma from 11-2pm all are welcome to come and honor her memory.
