Constance Jean Moore, affectionately known as Connie, was born on April 29, 1952, in Hastings, Nebraska, and passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, in Fredricksburg, Virginia. Throughout her life, Connie embodied warmth, creativity, and a deep affection for both her family and the world around her.

Connie's passions were numerous and vividly reflected in her daily life. An excellent cook, she spent many years in the cooking industry, always bringing joy and nourishment to those fortunate enough to share a table with her. The heart of her home brimming with delicious aromas, it was a place where family gathered to create memories over meals lovingly prepared by her hand.

Her love for animals, especially cats, was palpable. Connie opened her heart and home to numerous feline friends, ensuring that every cat, whether indoors or outdoors, felt cared for. The little fur babies outside would wait patiently as she provided them with bowls of food and canned treats—a testament to her nurturing spirit and compassion for all living things.

Family held a paramount place in Connie's life. She was immensely generous with her time and talents, crafting gifts that brought delight to her loved ones. A hallmark of her holiday spirit was her extravagant Christmas decorations, transforming her home into a festive wonderland. Visitors could expect to be greeted by an array of hanging decorations that danced with every movement, alongside an exterior adorned with countless twinkling lights. Each Christmas, she made it a point to wrap Christmas paper around every picture and kitchen cabinet, creating an atmosphere of wonder and joy.

A devoted believer in Jesus Christ, Connie embraced her faith with sincerity and dedication. Daily prayers were a comforting rhythm in her life, a practice that defined her spirituality and brought her peace.

Connie leaves behind her beloved husband, Frank Cole; her brother, David Moore; sister-in-law Linda Moore; her cherished children, John Moore and his wife Suzannah Moore, along with Jim Johnson; and a host of dear relatives including her brother-in-law and sister-in-law pair, David and Dianne Cole, Steve and Linda Cole, Don and Ruth Phillips, Bryan and Rebecca Shmucker. She was blessed with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who were the delight of her life, alongside her furry kiddos, Butter and Snowball.

As we remember Constance Jean Moore, we hold in our hearts a spirit radiating love that transcends time and space. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and devotion will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
