Corey James Riddle, 36, of Herndon, Virginia, passed away on August 11, 2026.

Born in Fairfax County, Virginia, Corey was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife and child, his parents, stepfather, four siblings-in-law, step-sister, and many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence in their lives.

Corey attended Northern Virginia Community College and built a successful career as a bank manager. He took pride in his work and was known for treating people with kindness, patience, and respect. Whether helping a customer, supporting a coworker, or lending a hand to a friend, Corey believed in taking care of others.

Those who knew Corey best will remember his generous spirit and the way he always tried to make people happy. He had a natural ability to make others feel welcome and valued, and he often put the needs of those around him before his own. His warmth, humor, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A passionate sports fan, Corey especially loved cheering for the New Orleans Saints and the Chicago Bulls. He was also an avid basketball player who enjoyed spending time on the court, sharing the game he loved with friends and family. Sports were more than a hobby for Corey—they were a source of connection, joy, and countless memories.

Above all else, Corey’s greatest love was his family. He was a devoted husband and proud father whose love and dedication will continue to live on through those he leaves behind. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made through his kindness, compassion, and love will never be forgotten.

The family is currently planning memorial arrangements, and details will be shared at a later date.
