Cornelius Talbot Windsberg

February 16, 1958 — March 26, 2025

Manassas, Virginia

Cornelius Talbot Windsberg, affectionately known as Neil, was born on February 16,1958, in Orange, New Jersey. He departed this life on March 26, 2025, in Aldie, Virginia, after a period of hospitalization, passing while in hospice care.

Neil was a proud graduate of Chantilly High School, and was later employed for a time at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Neil struggled with lifelong medical conditions that affected his daily living. An enthusiastic individual, Neil harbored a deep love for railroad trains, a passion that often intertwined with his interests in listening to an emergency services scanner. He was an avid fan of the James Bond and Star Wars franchises, cherishing moments spent watching movies at the local theater. Dining out was also one of his great joys, and he delighted in sharing meals with friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Arnold Windsberg.

Neil will be greatly missed by his close friends John and Jane Ohashi and Joy and David Peyton.

As we reflect on Neil’s life, we honor a man who appreciated the simple pleasures of life and the comfort of friendship. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
