Dominick Michael De Pasquale Jr.
May 1, 1934 – June 4, 2026
Age 92
Dominick Michael De Pasquale Jr. (Dom), a man of enduring strength, steadfast love, and quiet pride, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026. Dominick lived a life that was rich in family, hard work, and simple joys — the kind of life that leaves a lasting mark on all who were fortunate enough to share it.
Born and raised in Roselle Park, New Jersey and making his home in Linden he was a fixture in the neighborhood. For over 40 years, he was employed as a mason for Union County Department of Parks and Recreation— a career that spoke to his dedication, his craftsmanship, and his deep sense of service to the community. He was a man who built things to last and that spirit extended far beyond his work.
Above all else, Dominick was a family man. For 69 remarkable years, he was devoted to the love of his life, his wife Mary — a partnership that was a true testament to commitment, love, and the beautiful life two people can build together. He was a proud father, and a beloved grandfather who cherished his two granddaughters.
When he wasn’t with family, you could find Dominick cheering on his favorite teams the New York Yankees, Giants or his granddaughters Virginia Tech Hokies from the comfort of his recliner. He loved playing cards and bus trips to Atlantic City, where he enjoyed the excitement and the chance to win at the poker table. You could find him listening to Frank Sinatra while driving around in his Cadillac, cracking jokes and singing silly songs. These were the simple pleasures of a man who knew how to savor life.
While being a man of few words his unwavering faith, constant strength, and unconditional love were felt by everyone around him. His strong work ethic, pride in his Italian heritage and commitment to family were evident every day. He was a proud veteran of the US Army Eighth Infantry Regiment and served in Friedberg, Germany during the Korean war. He was an active member of the The Catholic War Veterans Assumption Post #866 , and Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, NJ.
Dominick is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Mark (Terri) and Anthony (Lisa), granddaughters, Elizabeth (Patrick) and Michelle (Michael) and sisters Rose and Mary Lou (Alex). Dominick was predeceased by his parents Dominick and Mamie, brothers, Frank and Emil and sister Grace.
Dominick Michael De Pasquale Jr. lived 92 years with faith, purpose, with love, and with an unshakable devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
