Her family circle is further enriched by her sons-in-law, Tam Bui and Travis Morgan, and her daughter-in-law Nguyen Doan Thuy Dung, Yen Tran. Dong Kim Truong's legacy extends to her cherished grandchildren: grandsons Tony Bui, Mason Morgan, Kevin Tran, and Kyle Tran, and granddaughters Deonna Morgan, Alice Tran, Katelyn Tran, Katrina Tran, and Kayla Tran.

The family also remembers with sorrow those who preceded her in death: her brothers Khanh Truong, Chuong Truong, Phuong Handler, Nga Truong, and Tho Truong; her brother-in-law Richard Handler; and two sisters-in-law, whose memories continue to live on in the hearts of their loved ones.
