Earl William Pfeiffer Sr.

April 15, 1944 — April 14, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Earl William Pfeiffer Sr., affectionately known as Butch, on April 14, 2024, one day before his 80th birthday. Born to the late Florence L Knott in Baltimore, Maryland, Earl was a pillar of strength for his family and a distinguished figure in the construction industry.

Earl's dedication to his craft was matched only by his compassion for nature, often seen safeguarding the local wildlife at his worksites. His love for animals was a testament to his kind and nurturing spirit.

A man of simple joys, Earl cherished his time spent fishing, crafting Halloween decorations, and reveling in the company of his beloved cat, and loved his pickup truck. His gentle demeanor and warm presence will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his children, Tabitha, Earl Jr., and Mary-jo; his adored grandchildren, Zachary, Veronica, Jacqueline, Richard, Trinty, and Joslyn; his attentive niece Karen Amend, Jen Fay; and his nephew Wayne Vaughn, whom he loved like a son. Earl is reunited in death with his mother, sisters Bernice and Dorthy, niece Bonnie, his brothers and grandson Brian, and a granddaughter Charizma.

A service to honor Earl's memory will be held by his family at a later date. In remembrance of Earl's lifelong affection for animals, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to local animal shelters.

As we bid farewell to a loving father and grandfather, we find solace in the memories he leaves behind. Earl's daughter Tabitha expresses her enduring love, "I love you, Daddy, and miss you deeply. Words cannot convey the emptiness left in my heart. I will forever be Daddy's little girl. With everlasting love, Tabby."
