Eric C. Schidlo, passed away on January 15, 2026, leaving behind a profound sense of loss in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Eric was a devoted father to his sons, Anthony and Elliott as well as a proud and adoring grandfather to Remy and Raiden, whose laughter, hugs, and boundless curiosity brought him immeasurable joy. He is also survived by his close friend and former wife, Angela; his sister, Karen, and her husband, Eugene; and his sister, Sandra. Eric was predeceased by his parents, Susan and Tim, and by his beloved son, Christopher.
Eric lived life boldly and unapologetically, always on his own terms. He had a remarkable sense of humor and a hearty, contagious laugh—often finding joy in laughing at himself. His generous spirit, kindness, and genuine warmth left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
A master of his trade, Eric was a skilled plumber who built and operated Your Plumber, Inc. along with his son Anthony. He was deeply respected for his honesty, fairness, and strong work ethic, building not just a successful company, but lasting relationships with loyal customers who trusted him as much for his integrity as for his craftsmanship.
Eric will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality and the deep love he carried for his family. His legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love will live on in the many lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
