Faron Curtis Lamb, a cherished husband, devoted father, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully at home in Alexandria, Virginia, on September 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on December 16, 1959, at Alexandria Hospital on the corner of Duke and Washington Streets. Faron's life was defined by his kindness, love, and devotion to family.

Faron graduated from T.C. Williams High School in 1979, where he excelled in cross country and track. He was a proud member of the 1979 State Champion Boys Indoor Track team, a testament to his dedication and spirit, which will be honored with an induction into the T.C. Williams Hall of Fame this coming October.

In 1993, Faron embarked on a successful career in mortgage banking, beginning at TMC Mortgage before spending the majority of his nearly 20-year career at Riggs Bank. His impact in the financial industry is felt even today, characterized by his unwavering work ethic, commitment to excellence, and helping others.

Faron was a longtime resident of the Belle Haven neighborhood, where he shared many joyful moments with neighbors and friends. As a member of the Belle Haven Country Club, he found community and camaraderie. He had a deep passion for boating and fishing, often finding peace on the water and cherishing the time spent sharing those experiences with loved ones.

The greatest love in Faron's life was undoubtedly his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lucy Muckerman Lamb. Faron was a devoted father to five daughters: Emily Lamb Matyas (Robert) of Fairfax, Virginia; Jocelyn Lamb Zimmerman (Eric); Caroline Nancy Lamb; Landon Faron Lamb; and Hollis Ferguson Lamb, all residing in Alexandria, Virginia, and his three beloved grandchildren, Louis Faron, Brooke Diana, and Walker Joseph.

Faron's personality radiated kindness and humor, making everyone around him feel special. He had a unique gift that allowed him to leave a positive impression on every person he met. His family describes him as having a kind heart and a great sense of humor. He dedicated himself to his family, cherishing every moment spent together. The strength and love he exuded were evident in everything he did, teaching those around him the importance of kindness and compassion.

Faron battled early-onset Alzheimer's disease, showcasing the unwavering love of a family that gathered to support and care for him throughout this difficult journey. Though it was a long goodbye, it was a profound honor for them to nurture and love him during this time. They find comfort in knowing that he is now free from the struggles of illness and can watch over them as their guardian angel.

As a family, they are heartbroken yet grateful for the time spent with Faron. His legacy of love will continue to resonate through the lives he touched. There will never be another quite like him, and saying goodbye is immeasurably painful. Yet, they are comforted by the thought that Faron has now received his crown of glory and is at rest, surrounded by the love he so richly deserved.

Faron Curtis Lamb will be profoundly missed but forever loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, as they strive to carry forward his lessons of kindness, love, and laughter.
