Ferris Jane Hall was born on November 2, 1955 in  Abbottsburg, North Carolina.  She was the 9th child of Clara E. Hall Wright and Ted Banner.  Unfortunately her mother died when Ferris very young. (in 1964) she was raised in Alexandria by her older Algie . Ferris attended the public schools in Alexandria. She married Henry Crews and they continue to reside in Alexandria along with their children.  Ferris oldest son is Teddy Hall, Anthony Crews, Angela Crews and Ferris Crews.

Ferris worked as a home health aide for many years. She loved helping and taking care of sick people. She was very talented in helping her patients feel comfortable and special. 

Ferris was wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved helping to raise her grandchildren. Ferris enjoyed going to the park and taking them to the movies. Ferris loved her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed getting together with them, playing cards and having good time.

Ferris had a love for  her God, Jehovah and the Bible. After studying the Bible several years, she baptized as of of Jehovah’s Witness in 1986. She enjoyed sharing the good of the Kingdom with her friends,  family and community. Ferris forward to yearly conventions and spending with her spiritual brothers and sisters.

Ferris had a delightful personality. She was cheerful person who loved to be around…..she determined….strong will and very loving.

Ferris was preceded in death by her  mother, Clara Wright and Ted Banner twin siblings who died as infants, Wally Wright Jr, Benny Wright, Ida Joyce Morefeild, Verenia Wright, Algie Boykins, and Percy Wright; and great grandchild, Isaiah Crews.

Ferris is survived by her children, Teddy Hall, Anthony Crews, Angela Crews and Ferris Crews, grandchildren Cierra Crews, JaKuan Crews, Kualie Crews, Micah Crews-Wyatt, DeMya Crews-Wyatt, Kamani Blackwell, niece Lois, Diane, Dexter…
