Fredric H Schuster was born on June 27th, 1950, in Amityville, NY. His parents were Jack and Jean Schuster (Altman).

Fredric died of complications of Parkinson's disease on July 31, 2026, in Haymarket, VA. He was 76 years old.

Fredric was raised in Massapequa Park, New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta.

After graduating from college, Ric joined VISTA (Volunteer In Service to America), where he spent 14 months in Columbia, SC, building playgrounds for underserved children.

He graduated from George Mason University School of Law.

After a brief stint in private practice, he spent the remainder of his career at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, where he was a respected defense litigator. He retired in 2019 due to health reasons.

Ric was an avid gardener and spent many hours tending to his beautiful flowers.

Ric is survived by his beloved wife, Moira, of 52 years, his sons, Scott, Matthew (Anastasia), and Michael (Louise), cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Arianna, Holly, Eli, Aurora, and Ariella, his sisters, Jacqueline (Jost), Aimee (Warren), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and many devoted friends. 

Funeral services are private. There will be a celebration of life at a later date to be announced.
