Gerald Thomas Dolan II, affectionately known as Gerry, passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on October 1, 1951, Gerry's life was marked by a unique combination of intelligence, wit, and kindness that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gerry's favorite job was undoubtedly working for The San Francisco Giants, where his passion for sports flourished. He was not only an avid sports fan but also possessed an extraordinary memory for players, statistics, and unforgettable plays. His deep appreciation for sports was matched only by his love for the outdoors. Long walks with his beloved dogs, especially at the family farm in Ohio, brought him immense joy. Gerry cherished the connection to nature and the tranquility it provided.

A proud graduate of the University of the Pacific, Raymond College, he spent many transformative years in San Francisco before eventually moving back east to New England. His education and life experiences forged an individual who loved to travel, he visited places around the world that brought him happiness and inspiration. An avid reader, Gerry also immersed himself in books. 

Gerry's hobbies reflected his multifaceted interests, from collecting sports memorabilia to playing tennis and riding. Throughout his life, he made unforgettable memories, particularly those shared with family. His fondest moments included attending Broadway plays with his sister, exploring the vibrant city together, and guiding friends and family through tours of California, showing them his favorite spots. He took wonderful care of his mother, they often joked about being a great team. He had a special bond with his nephews, often taking them to sporting events and 4-H fairs, as well as hunting adventures with his brother, Jeffrey.

He was passionate about animal rescue, especially dogs, reflecting his compassionate nature. Gerry's love for his family was profound;  forming bonds that brought much joy to all. 

Gerry is survived by his loving mother, Mrs. Barbara Dolan, his sister, Barbara Brown, and his nieces and nephews—Emily Brown, Bethany Brown, Billy Brown, Jeffrey Dolan, and Grant Dolan. He is reunited with his father, Gerald T. Dolan, and his brother, Jeffrey A. Dolan, who will always be remembered alongside him.

As we remember Gerry, we celebrate a life lived with compassion, and an unwavering dedication to family and friends. His spirit will remain a beacon of light and love for those who hold him dear.
