Harry’s 62 years on this earth were filled with warmth, laughter, and a rare generosity of spirit that touched all who knew him.
Harry Leonard Kincaid, beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday , August 18, 2026, in Manassas, Virginia. Born on September 30, 1963, Harry’s 62 years on this earth were filled with warmth, laughter, and a rare generosity of spirit that touched all who knew him.
To say that Harry was loved is to understate the impact he had on the lives around him. His son, Jacob Taylor Kincaid, remembers not just a father, but a steadfast champion and confidant—a man who made childhood magical, who made ordinary days memorable and extraordinary. From taking Jacob to his job in Washington DC to sharing the thrill of live shows together—including an unforgettable KISS concert—Harry made every adventure count. The backyard resounded with their laughter as they played basketball, and when it came time to teach his son how to handle a Red Ryder BB gun, Harry’s playful quoting of “A Christmas Story” became a cherished family theme, repeated a hundred times over and still bringing smiles years later.
Harry's heart knew no limits; he was endlessly thoughtful and caring, always seeking to bring happiness and comfort to those he loved. His sense of humor was magnetic, and his laughter became the soundtrack to so many gatherings, always leaving friends and family longing for more. Harry would give you the shirt off his back without a moment’s hesitation, and so many came to rely on his kindness, his unwavering presence, and that singularly heartfelt approach to life.Surviving Harry are those who continue to feel his guiding influence every day: his treasured son Jacob Taylor Kincaid, his devoted sister Mary V. Faulk, and his dear nephew Rod Faulk. Their grief is softened by the countless memories and the love Harry poured into every relationship; through them, his legacy will endure.
While we now face the difficult task of saying goodbye far too soon, we take comfort in knowing Harry is finally at peace. The world has lost a truly one-of-a-kind soul, but those lucky enough to have called him family or friend carry his spirit forward.
His sense of humor was magnetic, and his laughter became the soundtrack to so many gatherings.
Harry, we miss you more than words can ever say. Thank you for every laugh, every lesson, every moment. We love you, Dad.
