Isabelle Delfino dos Santos Perez, 51, born on September 29^th, 1973, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, passed peacefully in her home in Fairfax, Virginia on July 16^th, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Leonardo Pio Perez and mother to Philippe Delfino Duarte and Manuela Delfino Perez.

She was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro but during her adult life lived in many places—Rochester, NY; Brasilia, Brazil; and in the DC area. In all those places she collected life-long friends and everlasting memories. She showed love and passion with every task from taking care of her kids, to working at Wegman’s bakery, and volunteering at food pantries. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she gave of her time and energy to those in need.

She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Isabelle will be remembered for her radiant humor, her nurturing spirit, and her impeccably curated playlists. Characteristics that were unwavering even throughout her sickness.

Cremation services will be held at 8:00am on Tuesday, July 22^nd at Carewell Cremations (2929 Eskridge Rd Ste N, Fairfax, VA 22031).

Contributions in her memory may be made to her favorite organization, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Nasceu e cresceu no Rio de Janeiro, mas durante sua vida adulta morou em muitos lugares — Rochester, Nova York; Brasília, Brasil; e na região de Washington, D.C. Em todos esses lugares, ela colecionou amigos para a vida toda e memórias inesquecíveis. Ela demonstrava amor e paixão em todas as tarefas, desde cuidar dos filhos até trabalhar na padaria do Wegman's e ser voluntária em bancos de alimentos. Sua compaixão não tinha limites, e ela doava seu tempo e energia para os necessitados.

Ela fará muita falta a todos que a conheceram. Isabelle será lembrada por seu humor radiante, seu espírito acolhedor e suas playlists impecavelmente selecionadas. Características que permaneceram inabaláveis mesmo durante sua doença.

O serviço de cremação será realizado às 8h da terça-feira, 22 de julho, na Carewell Cremations (2929 Eskridge Rd Ste N, Fairfax, VA 22031).
