With profound love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the life of Janice Grace Brown Sullivan, who peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at her home in Woodbridge, Virginia, surrounded by the love of her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Tonya Sullivan; granddaughter, Arica Clark; stepdaughter, Bernice Sullivan; brother, Jerry Brown; sister, Evelyn Brown; sister-in-law, Rosie Brown; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Born to the late Prince and Ruth Brown, Janice lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, integrity, and unconditional love. A woman of deep Christian faith, she trusted God throughout every season of her life and found joy in serving others, encouraging those around her, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Her calm presence, loving heart, and words of wisdom brought comfort to many.

Janice valued education and pursued her studies with dedication and purpose. She graduated from William R. Davies High School and later enrolled in Cortes Peter Business College in Washington, DC, laying the foundation for the professional path she would go on to build with excellence and pride.

Janice was known for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, warm smile, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She touched countless lives with her kindness, grace, and selfless heart, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.

During the early years of her federal career, Janice had the distinguished honor of working at the White House, an experience she treasured deeply and one that reflected her professionalism, dedication, and trusted service. She later continued her career with the Drug Enforcement Administration within the Federal Government, faithfully serving for 40 years as a computer specialist. She took great pride in her work and earned the admiration and respect of colleagues through her integrity, commitment, and excellence.

Family was Janice’s greatest blessing. She treasured every opportunity to gather with loved ones, celebrate life’s milestones, and create memories that will forever be cherished. Her unconditional love, generosity, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through those who were blessed to know her.

Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find peace in knowing that Janice is no longer suffering. Her remarkable legacy of faith, love, resilience, compassion, and dedicated service will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew her.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the hospice caregivers, relatives, friends, neighbors, and everyone who offered prayers, love, encouragement, and support throughout Janice’s journey.
