IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janice Victoria
Taylor
September 10, 1948 – January 7, 2026
Janice Victoria Taylor, born on September 10, 1948, in Lakeland, Florida, departed from this world on January 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. She dedicated over 30 years of her life to nursing, ultimately earning the esteemed role of lead RN at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Throughout her career, Janice was not only a caregiver but also a source of compassion and strength, always striving to make others feel special and cared for.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Janice approached life with an unwavering commitment to her family and friends. Known for her fun-loving spirit and generous heart, she was a wonderful listener, always the one people turned to in times of need. Her vibrant personality, complemented by her great sense of humor, made her warm and inviting, while her unpredictable nature ensured that there was never a dull moment.
Janice had a natural talent for bringing people together. Family gatherings at her home were infused with warmth and joy, where her signature festive jello molds—happily encased in the Tupperware she proudly sold for years—became a beloved tradition. With a fierce loyalty to her favorite sports teams, she was often found passionately cheering (and occasionally yelling) for the Washington Redskins, both at home and in the stands, adding a spirited energy to any game day.
Her hobbies reflected her vivacious spirit; Janice enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers, displaying her love for the quirky little things in life. She savored adventures as well, finding joy in cruises and trips to Las Vegas, creating unforgettable memories with those she cherished.
Janice leaves behind a loving family who will carry her spirit forward: her identical twin sister, Janet Kiesgen; her devoted son, Brandon Nolke; her beloved daughter, Kami Victoria Nolke; her supportive daughter-in-law, Lauren Nolke; and her precious granddaughters, Kyla, Ada, and Nora Nolke. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Michael Kiesgen; her cherished niece, Carrie Victoria Baranowski; her niece, Kimmie Edwards; and five great nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her kindness and generosity.
As we bid farewell to Janice Victoria Taylor, we honor a life lived to the fullest—a life that filled hearts with joy, laughter, and love. Her legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of all who knew her, reminding us to embrace life's moments with open arms and a giving spirit.
