In Loving Memory of
Jason L. Lacy
November 10, 1972 – January 6, 2026
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
🙏 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)

Obituary
Jason L. Lacy, 53, of Washington, DC, entered eternal rest on January 6, 2026. His transition was the result of natural causes of cirribrial hemorrhage related to heart failure and vascular complications.

While our hearts mourn his absence, we rejoice in knowing that he has been called home to glory.
Born on November 10, 1972, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, Jason was the cherished son of Roberta Renee' Lacy and William M. Lacy. From his earliest days, Jason exhibited strength of character, discipline, and a heart committed to service.
After graduating from Clover Hill High School, Jason proudly served four years in the United States Air Force Reserves. His commitment to service continued in his civilian career, where he faithfully dedicated 30 years to Warehouse Employees Union No. 730 as a Union Business Agent and equipment operator at Giant Food Stores. Through integrity, leadership, and perseverance, Jason became a respected and inspiring figure among union members and management alike.
Jason was a humble man of unwavering faith. He believed in walking in purpose, speaking life into others, and maintaining what he called a “high frequency” — a life aligned with positivity, faith, and God’s divine order. He encouraged everyone he encountered to pursue greatness and fulfill their God-given potential.
He found joy in sports, architecture, carpentry, uplifting music, and treasured family gatherings. His warm smile, empowering words, and steadfast belief in others left an indelible mark on countless lives.
Jason leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Roberta Renee' Lacy; his father William M. Lacy, his grandmother, Gloria A. Osborne; Aunt Katherine Osborne; Uncle Quinton Osborne; cousins Michael, Leticia, Linda, and Mark West; his Uncle James Lacy; John Lacy; Aunt Maryann, Sarah, ReeRee, Angela Oliver; Warren Oliver; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Though he is no longer with us physically, his legacy of faith, leadership, and love will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know him.

🙏“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
🙏In my Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.”
🙏John 14:1–2 (KJV)
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
🙏 Psalm 30:5 (KJV)
