It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jimmy Patterson on December 23, 2025. His loss is profoundly felt by all who knew and loved him, leaving a void that words cannot fully express. Jimmy was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, whose life touched countless hearts and whose memory will live on forever.
Jimmy was more than a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cherished presence in the lives of his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends he was a light in every room, a source of love that knew no bounds. Despite life’s challenges, his laughter, his hugs, and his words of wisdom left a mark on every heart he touched, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his loving children: Dana Patterson, Joannah Patterson, Jayden Patterson, Jordan Patterson, Jaira Patterson; his cherished grandchildren: Joell, Avah, Jaidyn; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will always carry the memory of his love and guidance.
Jimmy is also survived by his siblings, Latarsha Patterson, Anita Patterson sister and best friend, Angela Patterson, his beloved grandmother, Daisy Patterson, affectionately known as “Mama”; and his aunts, Marilyn Patterson, lovingly known as “Niecy”, Mildred Bengochea, Marilyn Carter, and his uncle Derrick Patterson.
He is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Carolyn and Jimmy Patterson, and his first-born son, Maurice Patterson. Though our hearts ache with his absence, we find comfort knowing he is at peace, surrounded by love in eternity.
A Celebration of Life honoring Jimmy Patterson will be held on January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at David Williams Funeral Service Inc, located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11432.
