John Charles Anderson, the beloved son of Clifton Carey Anderson, Jr. and Audrey Hill Anderson, passed away at his home on September 26, 2025, after an extended illness.

He is survived by his sister Denise, and a very dear and close cousin, Cheryl Strange. He is preceded in death by both parents, and his siblings: Larry, Deborah (Fifi), and Sharon (Tootie). John is survived by his son, Corinthians Gaddie, and daughter Chinata Nesbit. His grandchildren include Angelika Gaddie, Lauren Gaddie, Joshua Gaddie as well as the late Neil Gaddie. Great-grandchildren Ayden and Eleanor will carry on his legacy. 

As a member of a large family, he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.John was an Army veteran. He was also a passionate ping-pong enthusiast who accumulated numerous trophies throughout his playing career and loved every moment of competition. He was a dedicated sports fan, always gathered around the TV to catch every basket, touchdown, and highlight. Though he is gone, his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
