J. David Boyle passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Anna Arlene Boyle, two sons - David II and Douglas, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many good friends and colleagues. He was a loving, caring husband and father, an accomplished academic, published important books and was a lover of music and sports. He will be missed and remembered very fondly by those who knew him.
