John Edwin Harte was born on 20 June 1960. He passed away suddenly on 18 July 2026 at the age of 66 he had previously had a heart condition which required a stent to be put in. It would appear that he passed away Quietly without any trauma, due to that heart condition.

In the course of his life, he had held many occupations, from master printer to HVAC technician for a major apartment complex. His last job was as a barista at the Unity club in Falls Church, Virginia.

He passed away with over XXIII years of continuous service to the organization founded by Bill Wilson. He assisted many people in their Journey within that program. He will be greatly missed by the large number of people he helped and knew him as a result of service to that organization
