Josefina Galan Rodriguez, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on August 1, 2026 at the age of 64.

She was born in Littlefield, Texas, and married the love of her life, Juan Trebino Rodriguez, at a young age. Together, they built a family and raised four children: Johnny Rodriguez, Jessica Elaine Laille Rodriguez, Sanjuan Efren Rodriguez, and Rose Anne Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her beloved children, Johnny and Jessica. She is survived by her children, Sanjuan and Rose Anne, and her treasured grandchildren, Emilio Sanjuan Rodriguez and Malachi Efren Rodriguez.

She loved her family fiercely and devoted her life to caring for others. Both in her work and in her personal life, she lived with a generous heart and a spirit of service. She gave the world all the love, kindness, and beauty she could.

She loved to travel, seek new experiences, and make lasting memories with the people she loved. Above all, she cherished being a grandmother. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable happiness, and being their grandmother was one of the greatest joys of her life.

She loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. Her warmth, strength, and beautiful soul will live on through her family and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

The world is a sadder place without her, but it is also a more beautiful place because she was here.
