It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Yuen Chinsen, who left us peacefully on February 15, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on June 29, 1953, Joyce lived a life dedicated to kindness, resilience, and the joy of connection with others.

Joyce leaves behind her oldest brother, I-Kuan, nieces; Pearl (William), Tsuilian (Wayne), Linda (John), Susan (Samson) and Jenny (Colin) and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Hung Voy Chinsen and Pakman Yuen and her two older brothers Philip and Dat, and sister-in-law, Sun Yiep Chan, nephew, Colin and grand-nephew, Brandon and her friend Steve Zucker.

Joyce was a beloved figure in her community, known for her warm smile and unwavering support of family and friends. She possessed a unique ability to uplift those around her and foster deep, meaningful relationships. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she approached each day with a spirit of gratitude that inspired all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Joyce embraced the beauty of learning and shared her insights willingly. Her passion for knowledge ignited curiosity in many, and her lessons extended beyond the classroom. She encouraged those around her to pursue their dreams relentlessly, embodying the notion that hard work and dedication could pave the way for boundless opportunities.
