Judieann Joaniese Morrison Brown was born to parents Randolph Fitzgerald Morrison and Mary Archie, AKA Dolly, on July 2nd 1958.

Judieann was the 3rd of several children, but the only one who knowingly developed Cardiac complications as a child. At the age of 5 years it was discovered that she had a condition called Rheumatic Heart Disease, her parents went above and beyond to find a cure, and after exhausting all medical treatments on the Island of Tobago. Our dad then had a discussion with one of his best friends, The late Reverend Samuel Leader and his wife Mrs Ruby leader. May their Souls RIP. , about getting help in for her in the Island of Trinidad.

Judieann was destined to die, her situation was grim and her prognosis was poor and inevitable.

Fortunately the Leaders agreed to explore other medical options in the country of Trinidad, so Judieann was sent to live with the Leader family along with her baby sister Sherma Morrison who was there as a form of companion for her, from the age of 3 years.

The leaders became our adopted family ,and committed to the long tireless journey of going back and forth making several visits to the Convalescent home to provide care, Love, and support to Judy.

Judieann was given a grim prognosis at the convalescent home in Diego Martin. The goals were for comfort care, until her life was ended peacefully.

But Judieann made a remarkable turnaround.

It was at that convalescent home that Judieann was miraculously healed through praying and fasting, by Leader 's and the Sangre Grande Pentecostal Church members, as well as her biological family members and ardent powerful prayer warriors from Lambeau Church- of-God in Tobago.

This enabled her safe discharged from the convalescent home, back into the community where she continued to live and thrive, at the Leaders Residence in Brooklyn Settlement Sangre Grande Trinidad.

Judieann attended Sangre Grande Government school for her primary education until the Leaders migrated to the United States in the year 1972

We both then returned to Tobago for continued life. I was 10yrs old and Judieann was 14 years.

Judieann loved the Lord and dedicated her life to God and the service of his calling from an early age. She was baptized by Reverend Samuel Leader at the age of 12 years, and continued as a Pentecostal worshiper at Scarborough Pentecostal Church in Tobago, under the leadership of the then pastor Gift. She joined various ministries; The Choir, The Pentecostal Crusaders # 1150 group ministry, and sang many solos at her church.

She was faithful in her worship to God as well as in serving her fellow church members. Judieann possessed great faith and belief in God, and her whole life revolved around her belief.

Her motto was, "God can do all things but fail."

When things seemed, difficult for either of us, she will ask me, "Can God?" My answer would be ,"Yes God can!". And vice-versa. Judieann and I sang a lot of the Pentecostal hymns as well as with her brother David while he accompanied her on the mouth organ.

Judieann attended Lambeau EC school, for intermediate education.

For Tertiary education, she then attended Guy's polytechnic School of business where she did both short- hand and Typing and obtained certification in both.

Upon her graduation she worked in several business stores until she was hired by a renowned Dentist in Tobago commonly know by all as Dr Bertie and work as a dental assistant to him for several years.

Judieann was very gifted with her hands and she developed a passion for craft. She specialized, in Floral Arrangement, Macromy making, Pottery, Ceramics, Cooking, Baking, Gardening and Interior decorating. Her skills were impeccable, as evident by her winning the first place award in her community in which she lived, for best decorated Christmas outdoor lights one year.

Judieann migrated to USA in 1994 where she worked domestically at first, then as a private Aide.

Judieann was hired by several stores in USA namely khols and Walmart

She retired from Wallmart 2021.

Judieann then developed a series of illness in 2023. and battled with ill health. Her illnesses resulted in many hospitalizations, and Nursing Home stays for rehabilitation, which culminated in an in home Hospice service due to her fragility.

Judy voiced to me saying Sherma, "I love you soo much, can you take care of me"?, it was there, I honed the reality of my true purpose from beginning to end, and vowed that we were bonded early in life for this time. I gave her my word to keep her safe and overseer her care until she left this world or vice-versa. We laughed and hugged and our bond kept growing stronger daily. She became my best friend and prayer partner.

At her home in Manassas while on the hospice program, She was diligently cared for by our Eldest Sibling Vanessa Joshua , who is regarded as the Matriarch of the Family. This care enabled Judieann to safely stay at her residence in Maury Lane, Manassas Virginia, where She received excellent care from the agency called, Caring hands of America, for home health Aide service, all aides were kind to her.

She was also cared for by Capital Caring Help, (The Home Hospice Services), The entire hospice team was remarkable, having a Hospice HHA service as well.

Together,  both teams worked with the family to ensure her safety and comfort and avoid hospitalization.

There was a strong inclination that Judieann was nearing the end of her journey when she said to me, "Sherma can you sing this song for me, 'Mansion over the hilltop.' which we did together but she was barely able to sing. She was thankful and said to me, " I'm ready to go." I encouraged her to hold on stronger to her belief and keep the faith, this was not the time to let go at all.

Myself and our brother David Morrison planned to visit her for her birthday on July 2nd 2026. We kept our plans and arrived on July 2nd to celebrate her 68th Birthday with her. She recognized all of us with the acknowledgement of raising, her eye brows , in amazement, opened her eyes the widest we've ever seen, and gave us a winsome smile. She was unable to say much or even sing the birthday song. My deceased daughter' Shellyann whom Judieann called the daughter she never had ( RIP Shelly), has a little dog named Swagg, he became Judieann's dog too, she fell in love with him, and she always asked to see him, we took him to see her too, when she saw him, she was very, amazed and happy.

Judieann took her final breath in the presence of the Hospice nurse, and family members at 9:06pm. Judieann has gone on to be with the Lord, her greatest hearts desire.

'A Life well lived, a Crown to be achieved.'

Now may her soul Rest in Peace and Rise in Victory.

According to one of my friends, it is the best birthday gift one can ever have.  While celebrating here on earth, she was whisked off to Glory Land. The table was set and ready for celebration at 9 pm, she made her grand entrance at 9:06pm for her massive birthday celebration.  

There's a banquet table where her seat was waiting, and the warm welcome of angels, saints, and heavenly hosts, with Jesus himself, to greet her, with the words, welcome, well done, my faithful Servant, enter into the joys of your Lord.

Rest in peace my sister. Instead of an earthly birthday crown, receive and enjoy your crown of righteousness, which the Lord himself has prepared for you!

See you over Yonder, won't it be a time. And to us who are alive and remain, She would say:

"This world is not your home you are just passing through; Live for Jesus, Surrender your life to him;

Be ready when he calls your name and Let Eternity be your Destiny."
