Kyle J Brady,41, of Washington, DC passed away on Friday, September 20th.
Kyle was a unique, smart, funny person with many interests. He loved family, friends, music, and his work. Kyle’s many interests included travel, cooking, swimming, listening to music- from Opera to Japanese Punk-Rock, and science fiction movies. Kyle loved the ocean.
He played the baritone horn and tuba throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. During college he was part of” The Mighty Sound of Maryland” playing in the University of Maryland Marching band. He was very involved with the Washington Toho Koto Society, with whom he played Japanese Koto, which he learned through his college studies and continued in life.
Kyle was well traveled throughout his life. He studied abroad at Chiba University in Chiba, Japan and graduated from the University of Maryland. He worked in the construction industry as a Project Manager and was very proud of some of his larger projects, including ones in the Hirshhorn Museum, and the DC Wharf.
Kyle leaves behind his mother, Lynne Cush, Step-Father, Jim Cush, sister Hannah Brady (Vincent Cush), Step-Brother Ryan Cush (Stephanie), grandmother Nancy Cross, dear friend Cedric Chan, as well as a large family of many aunts, uncles ,cousins ,nieces, nephews, and friends he made along the way, who all loved him very much.
We will all miss the spark in those bright blue eyes, and his kind and gentle way.
