Linda A. Buford, who peacefully passed away on June 15 2024, in Silver Spring, MD, leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on October 12, 1953, in Washington, DC, Linda led a fulfilling life marked by kindness, humor, and compassion. She graduated from the University of the District of Columbia and went on to work for the State Department. She made valuable contributions and touched the lives of many.

Described as kind and welcoming, Linda had a remarkable ability to make others feel at ease. Her great sense of humor brightened the lives of those around her, creating countless joyful memories that will be treasured forever.

One of Linda's proudest accomplishments was her unwavering commitment of making those around her smile. Her warm personality and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her son Lonnell Buford along with her sisters Joyce Long, Pamela Baxter Sims, Denise Rollins, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother Theresa Buford and brother Ray Buford and Sondra Kinard.
