Lois McIntyre (née Briel), born on August 13, 1932, in Alexandria, Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Woodbridge, Virginia. She was 93 years old.
Lois was the beloved wife of the late Jack McIntyre and the cherished daughter of the late Henry Briel and Bessie Briel Moelling and sister to Charles Briel. She was a devoted mother to her daughters Katie Storm and Jackie McIntyre. Her family circle extended to her son-in-law Brian Storm; grandchildren Corey Storm, Ryan Storm, Kaitlin Chewey, and Hannah Roddy; and great-grandson CJ Storm, Jr., all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Clements and brothers Henry Briel, Jr., Bobby Briel, Jimmy Briel, and Tommy Briel.
Throughout her life, Lois was known for her deep love of family, cherishing her role as grandmother and great grandmother. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and supported.
As per her wishes, no public funeral service will be held. Instead, a private celebration of life will be held for the immediate family to honor her memory.
