Margaret Ann Moore, née Jones, died on October 1, 2026, at the age of 92.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, Margaret worked as a secretary at RCA, where she met her husband, William Moore. She later built a career in marketing, working as a marketing manager for Hybritech, an Eli Lilly company, and Behring Diagnostics in La Jolla, California.

Margaret lived in Carlsbad, California, from 1986 to 2014. A lifelong lover of reading, she became a library assistant at the Carlsbad Public Library in retirement. In 2014, she moved to Silver Spring, Maryland, to live with her daughter, Margaret.

She introduced her daughter to opera, ballet, art, and music, sharing experiences that remain cherished memories.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, William Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Moore; her niece, Jeanne Marie Hauch; and her nephew, Michael Jones. Her niece and nephew both reside in Alexandria, Virginia.

Her ashes will be scattered at sea off San Diego, where her husband’s ashes were also scattered.
