Marie Teresa Musante, 83, passed away on June 16, 2026, she was known for her generous nature, strong opinions and her uncontrollable shopping addiction.

Marie was a proud graduate of Trinity College where she received a degree in history. Marie was a firm believer in hard work and service. She served as an Army Captain in Germany during the 1960s and then embarked on a decades-long career as a labor relations specialist for the government.

Marie was a selfless mom and doting grandmother. She is survived by her 2 children, Vanessa Thompson and David Meyer, her three grandchildren Ryn Thompson, Joshua Thompson, and Christian Meyer, and two of her sisters Toni Basso and Rosemary Musante.  She was pre-deceased by her sister Rita Mazzeo.  

Marie’s life was one of family, service, spirited debates and shopping — always with a kind heart and an eye for a bargain.
