Marie Elaine Robusto

Marie Robusto (Dorczak) passed away peacefully at Upper Chesapeake Hospital on June 18, 2026. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Lucille and John Dorczak, and was the youngest of three girls. She is survived by her sister, Joann Tecic, and predeceased by her sister, Eileen Rybak. She was a devoted mother and is survived by three of her four children; Donna Schisler (Robusto), John Robusto, and Tony Robusto. She is predeceased by her daughter; Jacqueline Robusto. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Shane Schisler, Gina Roesler ( Schisler), Danielle Rodriquez ( Madore), Jessica Stark, and Ashley Jones. She also is survived by her twelve great grandchildren; Lilly Schisler, Breanna Schisler, Sadie Schisler, Kayleigh Roesler, Jacob Roesler, Luis Rodriquez, Elijah Rodriquez, Angelo Rodriquez, Malakyi Johnson, Layla Francis, Conner Jones, and Tara Jones.

Marie was a very strong and determined lady who after having to leave school in the eighth grade, and raising four children, was able to work her way up the corporate ladder at Giant Food to become a meat department supervisor. She had many friends and coworkers at Giant Food, and retired from there in 2006. She was an avid gardener and had a vast knowledge of many flowers, herbs, and other plants. She enjoyed the beach, being around family and friends, sharing laughs, and loved listening to music.

Many thanks to her son, John who took the best care of her anyone could have ever wished for in the last 8 years of her life; for the late nights staying up with her to play cards, and especially for playing all her favorite memorable songs on the radio in the last few weeks before she passed. 

There will be a life celebration for Marie on June 27th, 2026 at 1 pm at 1204 Bancroft Court, BelAir, Md 21014
