In Loving Memory of Mark Webster Treu 1/17/1967-7/25/2025

Mark Webster Treu, 58, of Centreville, Virginia, passed away peacefully in his home. A proud Navy Veteran and dedicated police officer, he devoted his life to service-with strength, integrity and heart.

He is survived by his loving mother Diane (Danfield) Treu, his beloved companion Maureen (His special Moe), his long term and loyal friend Stuart, his siblings Mike,Susan and Dan, his Navy Brothers and his Brothers and Sisters in Blue. He is also survived by his cherished dogs Smokie Da Bear and Kharmah. 

He was preceded in death by his Father Terrence Charles Treu and his fur babies Rex, Midnite, and Kraka. 

A lifelong fan of baseball, Mark found joy and camaraderie in cheering on (and fussing about their trade choices), the Washington Nationals. 

He was known for his unwavering loyalty, his sense of humor, his generosity, his big heart, and of course his love of animals. 

Mark leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength and meaningful friendships. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
