Mary Elizabeth Mayotte-Kemp, 66, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on May 9th, 2026.

Born on June 22, 1959, in Wyandotte, MI, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Connie Mayotte. Mary was the 9th of 12 children.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and crafting at the kitchen table. She also enjoyed going on walks, baking with her daughters, and cuddling with her granddogs.

Mary is survived by her husband, Charles Kemp, whom she married in 1989. She is also survived by her two daughters, Arabelle Kemp and Alexis Mayotte-Stubblebine of Mechanicsville, MD. Mary was a loving, caring mother who took great pride in her family and found joy in their accomplishments and time spent together.

Mary is now reunited with her daughter, Jeri Mae, and son Benoni, who preceded her in death.
