Meagan Nicole Heavel, affectionately known as "Pooh Bear," passed away on March 17, 2026, in Washington, DC. Born on June 12, 1985, in Baltimore, Maryland, Meagan was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and cousin whose vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of many.

Meagan was known for her outgoing personality and her deep capacity for love and care. She had a passion for reading that enriched her life and provided her endless joy. Those who knew her remember her as someone who was always ready with a warm smile and a kind word. Meagan was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Herold; her father, Charles Heavel; and her grandmother, all of whom she held dear.
