Melvin A. Williams

Melvin A. Williams, a dedicated real estate professional and Army veteran, passed away on September 14, 2025, in Fairfax, Virginia, at the age of 63. Born on January 20, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas, Melvin lived his life exemplifying hard work and commitment, attributes that defined both his career and personal life.

Melvin devoted many years to his career in real estate, where he made substantial contributions and built lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. His commitment to excellence and tireless work ethic earned him respect and admiration within the industry.

A proud Army veteran, Melvin served his country with honor and distinction, an experience that shaped his character and further instilled in him the values of dedication, service, and perseverance.

His personal life was enriched by a  family that included his brother Steven Williams; sisters Stephanie Carrion and Deborah Williams; half-sister Linda Williams; and brother-in-law Javier Carrion-Caliz. He was also a cherished uncle to his niece, MacKenna Williams, and a beloved great-uncle to Jameson Rodriguez and Jack Rodriguez.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, Margie Lee Vaughn-Williams and Alonzo Williams, who provided him with a strong foundation and values that he carried throughout his life.

Melvin A. Williams will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work, his service to the nation, and the love he showed to his family and friends. His legacy of hard work and commitment will endure in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
