Michael Eugene Aleshevich was born on June 6, 1961, in Jacksonville, Florida. He left this world peacefully on December 23, 2025  at the age of 64.  He was a lifelong resident of Chester, NJ before moving to Leesburg, VA in June, 2025.  

Throughout his life, Michael lived simply and cherished the small pleasures that brought him joy, including watching the New York Yankees with his dad, strong cups of espresso and classic TV shows and movies. He had an unparalleled memory and could instantly recite the date of any major family event.  He was not only a kind soul but also someone who never spoke an unkind word about anyone. His friends and family will always remember him for his gentle nature.

Michael was a skilled trumpeter and a member of the Hanover Wind Symphony in his younger days where he made good friends.  

He is survived by his devoted father and caregiver, Eugene Aleshevich, and his sisters, Sandy Reder (husband Jeff) of Florida and Laura Brader (husband John) of Virginia as well as several nephews and a niece.  They will forever hold dear their memories of Michael.  

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carol Aleshevich.
