In Loving Memory of Michael Anthony Glaze

Michael Anthony Glaze, known as Myke, 69, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully in Springfield, Virginia, on August 6, 2026.

Myke was born in Sanford, North Carolina, to Frankie Ann Solis Glaze and Charles Van Clind Glaze, both deaeased.

A man of many talents, Myke dedicated his life to serving others and making a difference in the lives of those around him. He was a highly decorated police officer, an educator, and a security officer in Washington, D.C. He was also a dedicated member of Kena Shriners and the founder and president of PT Armor in Virginia.

Throughout his life, Myke wore many hats, but those who knew him will remember him most for the person he was. He was a loyal friend and someone who touched the lives of many through his work, his friendships, and his generosity. His presence, humor, strength, and unwavering dedication to those he cared about will be deeply missed.

Myke leaves behind his sister, Teresa Glaze Stanbro; brother-in-law, TL Stanbro; nephew, Matthew Alan Stanbro of Anchorage, Alaska; and Ky Le, along with the employees and close friends of PT Armor. He will also be remembered fondly by the many friends, colleagues, and members of the communities he served throughout his life. His life was one of service, dedication, friendship, and love, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Myke’s life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Unity of Fairfax, 2854 Hunter Mill Road, Oakton, Virginia.
