Myrna Goldstein Lack passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on December 27, 1932 to Evelyn and Philip Goldstein, Myrna grew up in Brooklyn, New York in a 2-family house she shared with her aunt and uncle and her cousins Maxine and Gina. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and was a rabid fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, especially Pee Wee Reese! She continued her schooling at Brooklyn College where she earned her degree in education.

Myrna started her career as an elementary school teacher in New York and then Chicago. After her marriage to Dr. David Lack, the family settled in Peekskill, New York, where she devoted herself to raising her family, volunteering at the local hospital, rooting for the Mets, and getting to Broadway as often as possible. She moved to White Plains, NY in 1986 where she worked at the local theater, had a regular game of mahjong with her neighbors, and enjoyed the multitude of dining options in the city. She made frequent trips to Atlantic City with her lifelong BFF Maxine, and many international trips. She loved taking her grandchildren on Elderhostel trips around the country. In 2023 she moved to Arbor Terrace in Herndon, Virginia to be close to her daughter Lisa, where she made a new group of great friends.

She is survived by her four children: Richard (Tracey) of Amherst, NH, Steven (Ann) of Acton, MA, Lisa Savage (Randy) of Herndon, VA, and Jonathan (Diana) of Duanesburg, NY, and 6 grandchildren, Cory, Jacob, Lindsey, Jesse, Matthew, and Heidi. Myrna will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
