In Loving Memory of Nadine Regina Shaw

Nadine Regina Shaw was born on May 31, 1962, and was called home by her heavenly father on June 30, 2026, in Fairfax, Virginia, at the age of 64.

Nadine's beautiful smile could brighten even the darkest day, and her contagious laugh brought joy to those around her. She lived with a fierce spirit, remarkable strength, and a heart that touched the lives of family and friends in ways that will never be forgotten. She faced life's challenges with strength and resilience, but nothing was more important to her than her family. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and wholeheartedly.

While our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye, we find peace in knowing that Nadine’s strong faith has carried her home to God, where she is embraced with eternal love and reunited with the family and friends that she has missed dearly. Though she is no longer with us physically, her presence and love will remain in our hearts forever.

Nadine is survived by her loving children: Tyesha Shaw, Naquan Shaw, Janay (Nikki) Royster, and Naheem (Reese) Shaw; her grandchildren, Aniya Summers, Amari Shaw, Micah Royster, Ariana Summers; her aunt Brenda Delores Johnson Kelley; her beloved ex-husband Fred Shaw; her beloved cousin/sister Adele Bergamy; her siblings: Perry Babb, Monique Babb, Barbara Chase (Herold), Sonia (Neisy) Harrison, Gail Reese Davis (Walter), Thaddeus Williams, Eric Reese, Derrick Reese, Howard Reese, Keypae Reese, Perissa Reese, a host of cousins, neices and nephews. She also leaves behind extended family members, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by her kindness and unforgettable personality.

Nadine is united in spirit with her parents, Perry Reese and Rosetta Pankey Reese; her great aunt/second mother Helen Betty Anderson, her aunt Elaine Pankey, her uncle William (Cutty) Jordan, Jr., her uncle Lewis (Louie) Pankey, her aunt Carrie Ann Pankey Johnson, her brother Eric Reese, and her sister Kelly Reese.

Honoring Nadine's wishes, she will be cremated, and her family will honor her life together privately. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten.
